Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN (IRDTP) was established in 2014, located in Khon Kaen University, in the Northeast of Thailand. IRDTP aimed to train and develop teachers and educational personnel for the emergence of the knowledge society and accelerating change contribute to a new paradigm of knowledge production in the teaching profession in Thailand and other ASEAN countries. IRDTP for ASEAN continued to conduct its training courses and research & development (R&D) activities with emphasis on innovative teaching and learning strategies, technology-integrated learning, problem-based learning, and Thailand Lesson Study incorporated Open Approach (TLSOA) model to improve teaching in basic education at national, regional and international levels.
